Dr. Stephanie L. Derrick is a Los Angeles based screenwriter and award-winning historian. She writes episodic dramas with a heavy sprinkling of absurdity, often inspired by historical people and events. On the non-fiction side, her monograph The Fame of C. S. Lewis (Oxford University Press, 2018) compared the social, cultural and religious histories of twentieth-century Britain and America. She received her PhD in History from the University of Stirling (Scotland).
